"We were already having a blast so to impress us this experience had to be something absolutely amazing."

The Buzz is true, Bahamas are it

Two years ago we had moved some our fleet to The Exumas and we could not be happier. A beautiful Caribbean island puzzle piece consisting of more than 350 small islands and cays. Renowned for the abundance of sharks the area is seasoned with a fine flavor of wrecks, cave, and blue holes. If you care about marine life, you'll be pleased to know that dive sites in Exumas Land & Sea Park are protected.

Here is why

Lost Blue Hole

The rim of this large blue hole lies in 40' of water surrounded by coral heads, stingrays and many schools of fish. There is a lobster filled crevice at 80'. In the sand surrounding the hole, divers will find many small fish such as Banded jawfish, Seminole gobies and Tobacco fish. There are usually 1 or 2 nurse sharks here and during the spring a large school of Blacknose sharks inhabits the bottom of the 200' hole. This is the location of the Bahamas first lionfish sighting.

Periwinkle Reef

This is a shallow patch reef that is teaming with fish. The local Nassau operators feed fish here, so sergeant majors and angelfish will approach scuba divers looking for a handout.

Amberjack Reef

A 50' patch reef that has prolific fish life. You will see reef sharks and up to 10 large grouper. This dive also has many interesting small critters such as pirate blennies and garden eels. During the safety stop divers will be surrounded by a school of 100+ horse-eye jack that hang out under the yacht.

Austin Smith Wreck

A 90' Bahamian Defense Force Cutter lying in 60’ of water that sank in 1995 while being towed to San Salvador to be sunk there as a dive site.

Barracuda Shoals

This bankside patch reef has huge schools of fish as well as many small critters on the reef and surrounding sand.

Blacktip Wall

Hammerhead sharks have been sighted frequently on this wall. This reef is also where Ned Deloach (Reef books co-author) found the very rare Lemon goby.

"Best reef diving I have ever done"

Spent a week aboard Phoenix sailing out of Nassau, Bahamas. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience. The vessel, the crew, and the diving conditions were all first class. The scuba diving was simply awesome. Exceeded our expectations on every level. If you could do only one trip...this is the one!

"The best gift you can give yourself"

My wife and I wanted to book this cruise long time ago. As we were travelling through South America and The Carribbean for 4 months, they had a cancellation, and we jumped on it. We were already having a blast so to impress us this experience had to be something absolutely amazing. Well, to start with the boat, the Phoenix, is a place that feels instantly at "home", once you plant your foot. It an amazing state of the art vessel reworked for diving. The spirit of freedom fills the sails and gets you forward. Captain Oleg is a one of a kind, great fun and kind but also extremely knowledgable and reasonably strict when he has to be. He took us the round with the best diving spots we could wish for and he always kept it safe. The dives ... we dove 19 times since day one and they got better one after another with bright and big memorable highlights of a blue hole and shark encounters. Like I said we came in guns blazing and having a blast, but nonetheless the Phoenix tour blew us out of the gate.

We *will* be back.

"Sun, salt and fun"

Greetings to you. My name is Samantha, I received your card from Santiago at the end of our wonderful week of sail/scuba diving aboard the Phoenix, with 6 guest's including myself and Petra.

We had so much fun we have decided we would love to return next December the same Christmas week, which would be 12/23-12/30/18. We also would like to mention your outstanding crew of Gines and Santiago. Together they work as an amazing team, the food and service for diving/sight seeing was amazing! The meals were versified and Petra had food requests that we're met without any hesitation.

Erin Nicole recommends Sail Tomorrow:

This was my first live-aboard experience and traveled solo. The Bahamas in itself is a beautiful county and the diving was topnotch. An abundance of sea life, including a variety of sharks, rays, grouper, turtles, crabs, lobsters, jacks, snapper.... the list goes on and on. Diving in Exuma felt like swimming through an underwater forest with large schools of fish, giant corals, sea fans and sponges, the reefs were VERY healthy. The boat was cozy and comfortable, with hot fresh water showers and private bathrooms. Captain Navado had great knowledge of the area, always providing safe navigation, history lessons and great sightseeing up top! Dive-master Ivo excelled on fish ID, underwater navigation, diver safety and comfort. He led us through endless swim throughs, wrecks, drift dives, shark dives and the beautiful Lost blue hole. Chef Anna made delicious meals, always creative and different. She catered to specific diets offering hot tea or coffee post dives with fresh baked goods, definitely well fed!! The moment I stepped on board the staff made me feel welcome and at home. We shared stories between dives and over an evening cocktail making them feel more like family in the end than staff. Highly recommend this live-aboard.
